When do vendors get paid?
On Campus Vendors
ANY individual, group, or company who is coming to Drexel’s campus for the purpose of providing a service is considered an “On Campus Vendor”. Anyone who is not currently affiliated with Drexel University, including Drexel alumni will qualify as on-campus vendors.
Drexel has a very specific process for paying vendors that come to campus. Any vendor that comes to Drexel’s campus, must go through the contracting process and all contracted vendors will be paid AFTER their services have been rendered (after an event).
This process is generally non-negotiable and should be explained to the vendor if they are unaware of the process. Some vendors may request payment in advance of their coming to campus and providing their respective service, but unfortunately this is not an option in almost every case.
