INVENTORY MANAGER

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

The quartermaster / inventory manager is responsible for management and supervision of all CAB assets, supplies and spaces as well as the receiving and sorting of all deliveries for this organization. This person will also make sure that all CAB spaces (office + storage space) are kept clean and organized as well as being the point of contact for access to these spaces.

DUTIES:

*Although the list below aims to be a comprehensive view of what this role will entail, all roles on CAB are subject to change and duties are likely to be expanded or contracted during your time serving in this role.

  • Inventory Duties:

    • Keep a current inventory list of all CAB equipment, supplies, and owned or borrowed materials. This inventory should also include the current location of all equipment/supplies.

    • Manage sign-out/sign-in process for all CAB equipment. 

    • Work with event leads and committee directors to manage pickup and dropoff of supplies before and after events.

    • Uphold a clear organizational system for all CAB assets so that they are easily accessible for all relevant parties.

    • Intimately understand how to operate all CAB equipment and act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and problems that may arise at events, meetings, etc.

    • Maintain all CAB equipment and perform any reasonable repairs or proactively find out the correct path for getting any broken or malfunctioning equipment repaired by another CABbie or a third party.

  • Shipping + Receiving Duties:

    • Receive all packages for CAB and retrieve them from their point of delivery (generally the SORC).

    • Open and organize all packages for event leads so that they are accessible for all upcoming events. 

    • Notify event leads or directors of newly arrived packages for their respective events and communicate with them to answer any questions or concerns they may have about shipping and receiving.

  • Space Duties:

    • Ensure that CAB office and storage spaces are kept clean and organized at all times.

    • Act as the main point of contact for access requests to CAB office and storage spaces.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / PREREQUISITES:

  • This person should be HIGHLY organized and committed to keeping all CAB equipment/supplies accounted for and in prime, working condition.
