CAB ROLES + RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Below, you will find descriptions for all roles in the Campus Activities Board. If you click on “Learn More” for any role, you will be taken to a page that contains a full breakdown of duties for that position and some other resources that may be helpful for anyone currently holding said position.

 
 
 

Executive Board

 

PRES.

President

The president is the executive event producer and senior leader for the Campus Activities Board at Drexel University. This person is tasked with overseeing all operations for the organization, setting short-term + long-term goals for CAB, providing the organization and its membership opportunities for growth, and leading CAB to success. This is an elected position.


VP.

Vice President

The vice president is CAB’s enforcer and operator of daily affairs. This person will be responsible for all normal operations of the organization in addition to the tracking and facilitation of all judicial measures as necessary. This person will also be the president’s primary co-leader. This is an elected position.


TREAS.

Treasurer

The treasurer is a member of the CAB executive board who is charged with the oversight of all financial transactions, budgetary decisions, purchasing processes, and other necessary tracking of monetary information. This position is also a part of the “Admin.” team of the executive board.


SECY.

Secretary

The secretary is a member of the CAB executive board and admin. team who is responsible for all general communication and administrative duties within CAB. This person will be updating calendars, maintaining rosters, providing access to CAB platforms, the first point of contact regarding member requirements / disciplinary actions, and the member to make most general board announcements throughout the year.

Special Roles

 

QM

Inventory Manager / Quartermaster

The quartermaster / inventory manager is responsible for management and supervision of all CAB assets, supplies and spaces as well as the receiving and sorting of all deliveries for this organization. This person will also make sure that all CAB spaces (office + storage space) are kept clean and organized as well as being the point of contact for access to these spaces.


TM

Ticketing Manager

The ticketing manager will be ultimately responsible for all ticketing operations and box office management at CAB. This person will be tasked with upkeep and management of all ticketing software as well as the efficient collection, review, and distribution of all event details related to ticketing or attendance.

 

General Board

EVENTS

Event Planner

Event Planners are the backbone of CAB and the role that a majority of our members hold. This position is the basis of all operations for the Campus Activities Board and what allows our organization to produce as many quality events as it does each year. Each event planner is responsible for producing events each academic quarter and seeing them through from conception to execution. Any person holding this role will work with other CAB members, student organizations, Drexel faculty + departments, vendors, and various other parties to bring engaging, innovative programming to Drexel University’s student body.
